Last year at this time I was getting married in Newport, RI at the Astors' Beechwood Mansion. If you haven't been to Newport I highly recommend it. It has great shopping, restaurants, and so much history. There are so many fun activities all year round- there is something for everyone! Every year around this time, Newport really comes to life.

My parents originally introduced to me to this great city as a child- my mom was born in Newport and we always came back to visit family and friends and my dad made chocolates for a local candy store. I lived in Newport back in the early 90's while I was attending Salve Regina University- and have missed it every day since. If you love to shop (like me) some great shops to visit are Pink Pineapple, CK Bradley, Karol Richardson- and there are many more! I took these photo's outside the Newport Art Museum on Bellevue Avenue.
